5 Books Like Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

Whether it was the relationship with Diem you loved about Reminders of Him, the slow-burn/enemies-to-lovers trope, or the tragedy that led to a second chance, here's a list of books like it in one of those ways to read next:

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

1. Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

If you loved the role Ledger played in Diem's life as a father figure, then you'll love Knox, one of the main characters in Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score. The relationship between the child and the main man in both books was similar and equally heartwarming. Knox also happens to own a bar and gives the main female character, Naomi, a job when she needs it most, just like Ledger did for Kenna.

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata

2. All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata

It's rare to see so happy glowing reviews for a book, but All Rhodes Lead Here is one of those books with a 4.4 out of 5 rating on GoodReads. Like Reminders of Him, one of this book's main characters is a child, which I always find adds another level of complexity to a romance. Here's the idea: Aurora moves back to her hometown after a breakup, where she moves into Tobias Rhodes' garage apartment. However, Tobias's son Amos, rented it out without his dad, Tobias' permission, so together Amos and Aurora have to convince him to let her stay. It's a slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, moving back home, found family romance, which are all things you saw in Reminders of Him.

Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey

3. Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey

Like in Reminders of Him, the main female character in Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey has recently been released from jail and like Kenna, Stella takes accountability for the mistakes she made that lead her there. Also, both women get second chances in more ways than one and get the happily ever after they deserve. While Window Shopping does take place in New York City at Christmas, it can easily be enjoyed whether it's the holiday season or not.

Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder

4. Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder

There are two things in particular that make Falling Into You and Reminders of Him sound similar. First off, tell me this first line in Falling Into You doesn't sound similar to the Kenna-Scotty-Ledger situation: "I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first." Second, they're both tear-jerker romances that include tragedy and a dose of spice.

Confess by Colleen Hoover

5. Confess by Colleen Hoover

Do you know who loves Colleen Hoover? BookTok. So, as I was browsing TikTok and deciding which of her books to read next, I made note of a few comments saying how many similarities there are between Confess and Reminders of Him. In fact, here are the key similarities as pointed out by one Redditor: five-year timeline jump, young couple unexpectedly gets pregnant, father of the baby dies early, mom loses custody, father's side raises the child, mom tries to get her kid back."
